What we collect
To connect you with a rider or customer and run a trip, we collect:
- Your name and phone number
- A profile photo taken during signup, shown to the other party before a trip
- Pickup and dropoff locations for each ride you request or accept
- For riders: vehicle details (make, model, plate number)
Location data
We use your device's location to show nearby riders, set your pickup point, and — while a ride is under way — share a live position between the matched rider and customer so each can see the other en route. Location is only collected while you have the app open, and while a rider is toggled online.
Sharing between rider and customer
Once you're matched for a ride, your name, phone number, and trip locations are shared with the other party (rider ↔ customer) so they can find and contact each other. We don't share your information with anyone outside of that match, except where required by law.
Data storage & security
Your account and ride data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure and kept only as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time from within the app.
⚠ Fraud & liability disclaimer
Bejon Wah is a platform that connects independent riders and customers — we do not employ riders, and we are not a party to any transaction, agreement, or dispute between a rider and a customer.
If a rider or a customer engages in fraud, misrepresentation, theft, or any other unlawful or harmful conduct, Bejon Wah holds no responsibility or liability for that conduct or for any resulting loss. Every user interacts with other users at their own discretion and risk.
Always verify the pickup code, the rider/vehicle details, and the person you're meeting before starting a trip.
A free, independent service
Bejon Wah is offered free of charge to help riders and customers in Gilgit-Baltistan connect with one another. It is provided independently and on an "as-is" basis — you're welcome to use it for your own convenience, with the understanding that Bejon Wah's role is limited to facilitating that connection, not guaranteeing the conduct of any user on the platform.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. Continued use of Bejon Wah after an update means you accept the revised policy. Significant changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
